If it is $1149 and the 1920 x 1200 screen,

I think it is still a good buy.

The 1440 x 900 screen also isn't a bad buy even at this price, especially if one wants a notebook that will handle two HDs (or SSDs) among other things.

I'm also a fan of the GT50's, at BB now for $899.99 - but for the additional $250 it seems like you get a lot more with the FX P-7805u.

    Just my opinion.

I think it's still a pretty decent buy. I have been looking at another options but that's just me.

Don't buy it. Tigerdirect.com is having a 12% Windows Live Cashback program so you can get the 7801u cheaper than the 7805u from Best Buy. I just got mine for $1148.
