I've successfully installed the card into the computer and have installed drivers, and the card is showing up in the device manager. However, I can't get the device or the orange light to turn on with the switch or with FN+F2. Any possible solutions?

The old 5100 card was a full size card, the new one only fit the in the half size slot. Does the switch only work for the full slot?

i've had a similar issue with a RAlink BT+WiFi combo mini PCI-E card.

Eventually found out that the Intel5100 needs to remain in the card slot in order to get whatever is installed in the mini PCI-E slot to activate via Fn+F2.

In short, install the Intel5100 back into the PCI-E slot (with the 6200 installed in the mini PCI-E slot in tandem) and try Fn+F2 again.

    Should work this time :)

    Ok, I'll try it now.

Does this mean that both cards have to be on at the same time? Will the 5100 still suck power even though its connected to the antennas?

you can purchase extenders to get the 1/2 size card in the full slot. On the other hand I think if you put the 5100 asleep it either reduces or elimitates the power draw.

yeah both will be on but i simply transferred the antennas onto the Ralink card.

not too sure about the power draw issue though.
