    7811 FX, does it have an open internal port for Bluetooth?

    Just wondering, I have a mini PCIe notebook bluetooth card lying around and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could just stick it in the P-7811 FX?

    I see you posted this in multiple threads. This is the answer I posted to your other question...

    There was another thread about bluetooth in the 7811 (can't find it right now). It was determined that there is a connector on the motherboard if you completely disassemble the computer. I believe the OP found a bluetooth module from another manufacturer that plugged into that connector.

    I saw a post by johnksss yesterday that had pictures from that post. Perhaps he can find the original post...

    I was able to track down some internal pics and found an open mini PCIe slot, now I'm just trying to remember if I need an antenna. I did that since I thought I was going off topic.

    Just an FYI...

    When I added Bluetooth to a couple of Dell laptops, there was no additional antenna. There was a printed foil coil on the circuit board for that purpose.

    Those are fractal antennas. No need for old school stick antennas. It's not WW II anymore.
