    7811 Fingerprint Reader

    i know when the 7811 first came out, it was sent out with a blue tooth and fingerprint reader. to cut down on costs, the mainstream models did not have these features. i was curious if any of gateways other notebooks had a compatable reader. have been unable to find anything online.

    I think the reviews pictured the P-7XX models, the P-171x fx to be exact, I remember, I bought one :)

    well, emailed gateway. (we'll see how that goes ;) ) i'll let you know if they have any suggestions. i know they're pretty stellar about getting back! i've been looking at other gateway models online that feature a fingerprint reader and many appear to have the same touchpad set up. like i said, i'll let you know
