Quick question for other 7811 Users, was playing with 3dmark 06 and noticed it reported my ram as ddr2, so I downloaded Sandra and it is showing the ram as ddr2. Anyone else have there laptops with DDR2 instead of DDR3? Just called Best Buy, and going in to exchange for a different computer, so no big deal for me, but found it strange.

The programs you used aren't updated to detect ddr3 ram. Download cpu-z and it will show the same thing, but it will show the correct speeds that ddr3 runs at as well as the voltage that ddr3 runs at.

yeah, he's right, pop it out, count the pins there will be 204, where ddr2 is 200pin.

And the first post was not well laid out I should have said exchange for the same computer. Overall, I have enjoyed having this computer. Besides ghosting on the first one, the only error I have had was the User brain space error that caused this post.

If your 7811FX is working fine, don't exchange it. You might exchange for a lemon.
