How does the Gateway hold up against the 9750
-
Should be faster. 9800M GTS > 7950GTX SLI.
-
is this history 101 ?
-
the guy is new to it. have some decency to help him out. its a simple... YES ITS BETTER or NO ITS WORSERERERE
-
7811 stomps the $h!t out of the 9750.
-
And the 9750 would cost you $4.5K 16 months ago.... Talk about depreciation!!!
-
4,000 for that 8750 that's nuts, no way is it worth that price.
-
oops 9750 my mistake
-
I sold my m9750 and got the 7811 then upgraded the cpu to X9100 and it is a faster and better computer. Price and performance wise, yes the 7811 is a way better computer
-
if SLI is working properly, they should be close to the same actually, SLI 7950GTX is at the level of an 8800m GTX.
-
Wait I thought the 7950 GTX SLi > 9800m GTS...
-
I thought the 9750 can only be configured with dual 8700M GT sli graphics. They must have changed it. Also they lowered their price. It can be had for around 2100 for a similarly configured system (1850 for a single gpu). I.e. 4gb DDR2, 1920x1200 screen, 160gb HD, 2.15 T7400 C2D cpu.
Compare that to the 7811 with a P8400, 4gb DDR3, 1920x1200, 200gb hd, and montevina and you'll see that there's actually no comparision since the price differential is about 600 bucks. I got mine for $1250 with the free game during their initial promotion/sale.
7811 compared to the Alienware 9750
