    How can I get my mic working on vista 32bit? I did a complete reinstall but still a no-go

    Ummm, I have to ask why not use the Vista 64 Home Premium that came with the lappy? :confused: Mic werks fine on all three of mine. -Goodspeed :)

    Yah, futures trading, all custom programs but they only work on 32bit

    Oh, so if you put the original 64 bit OS back, could you run these programs in a Virtual Machine Linux environment? Or what about just running a VM with 32 XP/Vista just for your trading progy? Would that be easier? Then all of your junk works. Or no? :)

    Do you have the Gateway webcam software installed? My MIC didn't work when I loaded a clean copy of Ultimate 64. Installing the Webcam app and drivers, then reinstalling the audio driver seemed to get the MIC to work.
