Ok, So I am going tomorrow to pick up my 7811, but I also wanted to pick up an extra 200GB HDD to put in it but I have not seen where anybody else has done it...I was just wondering if it had the extra HDD slot....???

If I'm not mistaken, all of the p-xxxx fx series have and extra hdd slot. I think they all have the same base components with upgraded features, I guess with the exception of the 7811. I think it has a different mobo. But I recall seeing where other 7811 owners had two drives.

Well I've got the 6860fx running with two 320s in raid 0 and there is only really a slight increase with just normal tasks. Not really enough to notice. Boot up and shut down were a little bit better. However the real time you notice a difference is with large files accessing the hard drive and all. The only reason I did mine was because I like to tinker and mess with things. ;)

fyi, raid 0 cannot be accessed in the 7811 due to a bios issue. search these forums for the 7811 raid 0 thread

ahh, must've overlooked it justin. ty for pointing that out. I don't go on these forums as much as I use to before because there is just waaay to many 7811 threads and we lost the search feature for our forum.

basically, the same questions are being asked over again that were already answered numerouse times for the 68xx series. (not trying to be mean about it, just wish we had our search button again... unless it is there and I'm being lazy on finding it)
