Hi, I went to go plug in a pair of headphones into my 7811 today and I noticed that the headphones to plug in all the way like they do on my other laptop. When I plug them in theres probably about a couple centimeters sticking out. I still get sound out of the headphones, but was just wondering if this is normal for this laptop. Thanks.

Well i don't think it's normal, my headphone jack 3.5mm fit perfect on it, but if it's working no worries

What exactly do you mean when you say 3.5mm?

first time i plugged it in, i was getting crappy sound. and i was like F@@k, this lappy has a bad sound card. and the plug was sticking out a bit. so you have to apply some pressure until it 'clicks' in. everything was ok then.

Wow, I feel so dumb now because now it goes in all the way. I guess I was just scared I was going to break something by pushing it in a little harder. Thanks!!
