Does anyone know where I can buy a thermal pad for the system chip, just in case I need it when I do a CPU upgrade on my P-6860FX?

You can get them on ebay, personally I prefer ICD on both the CPU and NB. There was a thread about a high performance pad, 4.9 rather than the stock 3.5 heat transfer value, look for that................

If you want the absolute best....................

You only need a 1.1 or 1.5mm pad. Others have done copper mods. ICD has worked here for over 1.5 years...............
