Ok, first of all the game is Starcraft <-- Old Game
Im using 32bit atm, but i have tried 64bit As well and seem to be having the same problem. Everything in SC Skips,
Iv'e now tried 86x and 64x, both recieve the same problem, either random inverted color's or the game skips.
    Anyone have a idea?
Could it be because i made my "Main" driver my Data instead of OS?

Have you tried running it in a compatibility mode. Meaning right click the shortcut to SC, select properties, then go under the compatibility tab and check the run this program in compatibility mode box and select an Windows XP.

Also is the game fully patched? Blizzard is pretty good at keeping up with new OS releases.

Yeah make sure you have the latest patch installed. I've installed and played Starcraft (with Brood War) just fine on both 32- and 64-bit versions of Vista Home Premium.

What video driver are you using?

I have latest patch installed i play online, i tried what bighops said, No dice, thanks for the suggestion though, im using my DATA (c :) Instead of OS (D :) As the drive that i installed windows on, could this be causing a problem? i deleted windows.old as well and started fresh.
Oh and also, if i go under display options then go to 16bit, the color's aren't inverted, but game still skips.

It's a real old program. I recommend trying to go download a portable version off the internet 'somewhere' they are specifically designed to loop around these issues. I play it just fine using a portable version.
