The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

It looks like a severe case of the "gray" pattern some mention. Your link seems different because ours does not disappear or come and go. But you are right, it looks similar. If yours is that bad and you are within the 14 day window, I'd do a return.

Not sure what is going on with these screens but so far they seem to either have the problem or not. Hopefully the screens without spots/streaks/blobs will not develop them down the road.
