Is it ok to leave the power cord plugged in while gaming for extended period(5-6 hours)? The CPU temp is usually 53-55c and GFX is about 58-63c but they are normally 10c lower when running off the battery only. I know these temp are good base off what i read on other threads.
The only problem I have is the HD temp. It's the only thing that gets hot, i never even thought about it until recently when i notice the right side of the touchpad gets hotter than normal. It goes away once I remove the power cord. I tried zm cooler and removing the cover plate, it got slightly cooler but not by much. Need some advise, any will help. Thanks

On the side note, I played WoW and it's installed on the C drive. If I move the program to D drive, will it improve my situation?

I doubt it, just make sure you drain the battery every now and than. At least that's what I do. I only play games on AC since the computer down clocks itself and it kinda blows.

C and D are just partitions on the same drive, so no. Installing another, slower drive and moving WoW to it might help. What exactly are your temps though. Anything less than 50 is probably ok.

And strife1013, why is it good to drain your battery?

the recommended to make the life of your battery longer is to :let the battery go from 100% to 0% 3 times once a month. thats acording to asus tho...and somewhat of what i do =P
