So I have been very pleased with my laptop but I am interested in OCing and maybe changing the processor to an i5 or i7 if possible. Can anyone give me some more info on this laptop and such. Thank you very much.

P7901-h is the Quad core if I am correct. If so you limitations are the QX9300 for ugrade. I think then P79xx's, like the P78xx's before it, do not have an overclocking option in bios. The 79xx's may have a different PLL that SetFSB can use but someone else needs to post on that.

Core i5's and i7's use a different socket and are not compatible with the P79xx's. The Q9000 is a pretty powerful CPU. Even upgrading to a QX9300 is a great option. What do you do with the system that you would need such power?
