    Sorry for my english. Try Fn+F1=control lamps off; Fn+F5=battery&wlan status; Fn+F8=lcd brightnes(Max-min-custom). Maybe somebody know more secrets.

    Nice find, works on my Gateway MX6121. Pretty cool that you can turn off and on all of the status lights on the system, including the blue ring around the power button.

    The same for my NX860XL. That was one of my pet peeves, that a key command guideline was not included with computer. You must go to Gateway website and download manual for all of the key commands.
