    Hey guys,

I know this is a dumb question. But, if i happen to overclock/underclock my 8800gts on p6860fx will the news frequences stay permanent (on bios level) or will they get back to default as soon as i reinstall my windows.

Another question. I founds the clock speed for my card in cpuz and it is set to (core/shaders/memory): in current - 200/400/100, in 3D 500/1250/800, in 2D desctop 383/767/301, another 2d desctop 275/550/301. Is that normal (i have not experimented with clocks yet?)

The reason for this whole this is that lately my games seem to shut down for now apparent reason and it seems the GPU is the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Greg

You can set the overclock to be applied automatically on startup.

If there's an issue with your GPU you're going to want to get it sorted out before you overclock (obviously). You should also check out powermizer switch so you can disable powermizer when you're gaming on AC current. This might help you with gaming stability.
