Couldn't resist any longer for my P7805............
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Laptop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBSQ

Please let us know if it works.

I believe someone else here already did and they worked as 1066 cas 7, I'll post too though.......... apparently these are posed in the bargain area too...........
Edit; found the post, he actually went with the 1066 memory instead so guess I'll be treading some new water. I am hoping then the timings for SPD at 1066 are 7.7.7.20 or better.....
Edit2; Per wiki DDR3-1333 standard looks to be 9.9.9.24 at 667 and 7.7.7.20 for 533. Thaiphoon burner seem to confim this. So long as they work at the standard, which appears to be the case. all should be well............ -
I installed 8GB in my P-7805u a while ago. Seems to be good

It was the exact same memory, but I bought it for 139.99

Ok put them in, right away 8GB of goodness.
1.) These are marked as G.Skill memory chips not Hynix
2.) Cas 7.7.7.20 1T
3.) WEI CPU & Memory @ 3.99 GHz was 6.9 with the 4GB and now is 7.0 with the 8GB
4.) Passed Windows Memory Diagnostics
Edit; I thought the system felt a bit snappier so.........
1.) x9100 @ 3.99 GHz SuperPi 32m 14m 23s before, 13m 59s now -
what are your temps at 3.99GHz please? What's your Vcore?
cant seem to benchmark anything too taxing at 3.99GHz @ 1.450V. Temps very quickly get to >102C and cause autoshutdown.
Have you copper-shimmed your northbridge -"AS5 sandwich style"- or just used ICD7?
cheers. -
1.450 Vcore, and I can not stress it for long periods without a reboot as well at 3.99 GHz. Normal stuff is usually fine. SuperPI was ok as it reall is only single thread.
ICD all the way, no other real cooling mods............ -
I should note the price is up to 89.99..........
