I've looked around to figure out my problem I cant find nothing. I have the 7801u running windows 7 64bit, well recently I installed CPUID and Evga Precision and on both programs i'm getting 400/800/300. i've never used these programs when I was on vista so i'm not sure if it was the same then. Is the 9800m gts underclocked while on desktop and clocks back to performance clocks when I play games? my WoW and Modern Warefare 2 run great max settings. Anyone have any ideas?

The two times my gpu gets underclocked is when nvidia's powermizer is on or my gpu hit its max in a game and downclocks itself.

    Powermizer

And the only way I know how to fix clocks after your gpu downclocks itself because you stressed it too much is to restart.

yeah I believe it could be the powermizer, I installed and ran gpu-z and it says 600/799/1500 but on desktop its 170/100/350 something.
