So I've been readin the threads. Gonna get myself a 7801/5u soon and decided on a 1920x display. I decided on wanting an LG model and not an AOU. I understand that Best Buy has the 7805u that can either be AOU or LG based on batch numbers (I made a complied list of ones so if I go down there I can try and find an LG 1920 with a bit of luck). However, I'm aware that Newegg is selling the 7801u which is certain to be a 1920x model.

My question is if anyone knows if newegg's 7801u model consists of both AOU or LG or one or the other. And if anyone has had experience in requesting a specific batch number form them. If so to the last inquiry then how did you go about doing so. Thanx again, take care. :)

Don't think we've determined which 1920 display is on the 7801u's from Newegg, Lionblade.

You might try calling them - don't know if they will be able to specify a batch number at purchase.
