    AC adaptor help

    So i have a convertable notebook from gateway i dont know what model but anyways the AC adaptor fried on me so i am in search for a place where i can find a good deal and if anyone else has had issues with this any help would be appreciated. my previous adaptor was made by liteon and it was 19 V 3.42(?) amps and 65 watts anyone that can help me out please do

    Gateway Power adaptors are very common and you can get it at any laptop computer selling places. If you can wait, you can buy it from eBay for cheap.

    Unless Gateway use a non-standard plug on the power lead, any of the universal power supplies which can provide 19V and at least 3.42A will be OK (there will be no harm in using a 90W PSU except it is bigger to carry around). The universal power supplies usually come with a selection of different power tips.
