    Gotta newb question......is it ok to leave my laptop plug in for most of the time, or is it bad on the battery and its life? I have a gateway 7508gx by the way....

    It will stop charging once it hits 100%.

    Anyone notice their laptop losing power while not charged? 2 days of not using my laptop from 100% full power it was down to 87%. This is the 7510GX.

    You had the laptop in suspend mode during this time? If so, then the battery charge will certainly decrease over two days of non-use.
