I am wandering if anyone knows how to get the webcam to work with aol instant messenger. i have installed new drivers, installed the webcam package off of gateways site, and removed and reinstalled aim to see if that would work. i cannot seem to get it to work. the cam itself works because i can use the camera assistance software to turn the cam on and the mic works too. the only problem is that i believe there is a setting somewhere that needs to be changed in order for it to work. maybe with my firewall or nething. i have vista with a gateway laptop. any suggestions are helpful

Have you selected the mic and camera under the settings menu in aim? I use mine on aim fairly often and it works fine.
