    About Gateway p7805 fx missing HDD bracket

    Hi everybody, i'm new here and i have a little problem with my Gateway. I bought it one month ago and it was refurbished product hasn't hdd bracket for 2 hdd drive and this make my very angry :mad: becasue i can't mount 2 drive and actually becase of this i can't use RAID :( how and where i can find suitable hdd bracket for my 7805 and do anybody have the same problem??

    The 7805s don't come with a second HDD bracket... this is a known issue. You can order one from gateway or get one from ebay.

    Not true. My 7805u came with both drive caddies when I bought it last year (new from Best Buy). It could be that it may not be included with a refurbished laptop though.

    thank you for information but its looking very expensive because of shpping costs :( bu t i can't find it in Turkey

    Thats because 7805 wasn't intended to be sold there. LOL

    I would think it would be pretty easy to improvise something that would do the job. The hard drive in the HP notebook I bought (and returned) was held in place mainly with adhesive tape.

    :) you're wrong maverick :D it's and you can be sure here we have too much better notebooks than alienware, even ;) monsters but they are a little expensive for us becasue we don't earn $ :)

    i find some type of hdd candy and moddified and put it inside to my p 7805 and i can say for now is looking ok..

    p.s. i have't put a hdd for now :)
