I have a Gateway MT-6451 laptop that needs a new (or re-soldered) DC power connector. I feel confident in tackling the solder job, but do not know how to get to it. Can someone tell me which of the screws on the bottom cover to remove? Can I remove the main part of the bottom without disturbing the components inside? Any pointers would be appreciated. My alternative would be to take it to the shop. Would that be smarter?

I destroyed the whole cover. Was very furious at that moment in the past. :D Now I see every component inside.
