Personally I am going to go with this
19.99(After Rebate) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834998769
20.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1683499014
The sleeve has 33 mm(1.3inches) of padding which is the best I have found for around the same price, now I just need to find a cooler...anyone have any suggestions for under 40, though I guess I would go up to 50 :/ -
-
I'm looking at this one. It appears to be flat and if all the legs underneath the 7805u will fit on the cooler, it should blow air to all the vents underneath the laptop. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16834998492
Anyone have this cooler? -
Well from the customer reviews pen, looks like you would need to fine the edges down...might cancel my order I ordered today on newegg tomorrow if anyone recommends it..(the shipping costs A TON as it is...21 bucks :/). This laptop is costing me a fortune, 90 bucks on accesories if I get this cooler, I am gonna buy the bb warranty so I can get the 1050 to buy a new one in 2 years...I believe that is 350, right? Also, just to be sure the lojack software so if it is stolen I can get it back since the BB warranty doesn't cover theft :/(5o dollars)

Might want to make sure that HP fits the P-xxxx FX series, Zat.
Its 18inch on the outside.
The P-7805u is 15.75inches.
Most backpacks usually drop a good 5 or so inches in the inside.
So the laptop compartment might only be around 14ish inches and the laptop wont fit... Never had it though, just going by how most of the backpacks run in sizes. (Slappa matrix is 22inch on the outside but the laptop compartment is 16inch, For example) -
Here you go with the pics!

bought the black one yesterday - love it!!! My laptop is just silent. The cooling stand fan's noise is not noticeable.

Aza, I already read that post but I live in the US so where can I get it?
-
Have no idea
At their site they show that they have rep in States...

Has anyone tried this cooler , I like the way it looks

Okay, guys. I've just checked the rates. So, the UPS and Fedex won't do - way too expensive.
Ground or airpost to States are about 20-30 bucks. If you're ok with it - I can buy the coolers for you and ship it. So, everything's gonna be around 90-100 evergreens. And I'm telling you, it's really worth it. PM or email me, I think we can arrange everything.
Here's the box with specs and dimensions compared to regular DVD case.

that one's the AC version, same price, even buying both of them you're still saving a BUNDLE over any competing device or devices, they're refurbs sure but for 40 bucks shipped for one of each (and the DC version is seriously tiny) I got both to tote around for any situation. Also nice thing on the DC one you can unplug the lighter socket adapter and behind it is the EmPower plug for most airlines aside from the ones that just use regular automotive sockets. -
I just ordered both of those Kensington adapters today from Frys. Can't beat that deal.

yeah thanks for that link i was looking around for that one i ordered it today. good thing about fry's i learned there shipping is super fast like when i order stuff from new egg i got that DC adapter next day
-
I use the SLAPPA 17" backpack. Its very well made, and holds my 7805U very nicely. Its a bit pricey but i highly recommend it.
-
-
Just bought the logitech MX-1100 and its been pretty solid. Good ergnonomic shape, DPI rocker, hidden thumb button.
-
-
Just bought the belkin cooling pad while it had a rebate offer on it.
While I don't monitor temps religiously, I have observed that the laptop's fans doesn't kick in as much anymore. I am getting the Zalman NC2000 to compare, as I do like the option of lowering the fan speed on the cooler to lower the noise. The Belkin is loud but since I don't have the Zalman yet, I don't really have anything to compare it to. -
So anyone find a good stand in the US for this laptop?
-
im getting the Thermaltake Massive 23 ST. will update when (i work out the mess with paypal and then) it ships.
