For some reason my adapter will suddenly stop working and then I'll just move it a little and it'll start working again!

I don't really know what's wrong but I'm assuming this isn't normal. I just got the notebook yesterday so am I supposed to return the adapter? I mean there's not really any way for me to show that it isn't working since it works 99% of the time. But I mean, it's the first day I've been using it and it's already kinda weird.

Has the cable been bent? It's a common enough problem especially if you commonly wrap the power cable around the power brick. Since you just bought the laptop you obviously haven't had a chance to cause this kind of damage yet. You need to be able to replicate the error so it can be fixed under warranty. Try and see if "gently" bending the cable slightly shows the issue.

how about checking the outlet or the adapter that you are using it could be loose. since it works 99% of the time its definitely not the laptop or cable

The outlet is not lose. I actually do think it's the cable because like the 2nd poster said, when I bend it a certain way it'll not work/work so... I'm pretty sure that wasn't my fault because the only thing I've done with the adapter is take it out and use it. I don't know how I'd replicate the error though. Well, maybe bending it a certain way or something make it stop working. Also, if I have to replicate the problem do I need to bring in my laptop or just the cord?
