Hi, newbie here and just wanted to comment on the horrible support experience today with Gateway. I called this am to ask about how to get Bluetooth working on my nv79915u laptop as I had read on the internet that it did not come with Bluetooth? I was asked for my snid which i provided and was promptly told that YES it has Bluetooth and was probably just and enabling problem, I said well I had researched the issue online and had read that this machine did not have Bluetooth and she says well who are you going to believe us the manufacturer or the internet and could I hold a moment while I check my resources I was told which I answered yes to. She comes back and says since my machine is just out of warrenty that it will cost me $129.00 for 90 minutes of tech support to tell me how to enable the Bluetooth!!! So I said NO THANKS and hung up. I then did some more online research and still came up with the "no Bluetooth" in this machine even though it has a Bluetooth light and the fn+f6 function to turn it on which displays "no device" when pressed! I then proceed to open the case on the bottom per some instructions on how to change the ram sticks to check out the pci-e card and yes it is just an Atheros wifi card only, no Bluetooth. I have ordered a Bluetooth/Wifi mini pci-e card to replace the single wifi card and hopefully that will take care of the issue for $23.
    Any comments welcome.

I had a p-7805u a while back and it did not come with BT. That said, I would think you could get a pci BT device but am not sure I ended up buying a simple BT chip and cable on eBay for $25 USD and it was pretty easy to install. I would think that the chassis' on these comps is similar and that you may be faced with the same issue I was-buying and installing yourself. Just a thought....
