It's my birthday soon and I'd like to buy a second hard drive for my laptop. Would anyone mind telling me what hard drive I should get?

You can get any SATA HDD or SSD for the 6860. I'm running a 128GB SSD as my OS/app drive and a western digital 500GB drive for storage.

Well not any HDD will fit into your laptop of course. You are going to be looking at 2.5" laptop hard drives. If your interested in which drive is already in there its a WD3200BEVT if my memory serves me right.

    Thanks for your replies!

The WD3200BEVT is incredibly cheap on newegg! I think I'll go ahead and buy it :)

Do you guys know if it's easy to set up raid for the drives? Is it a good idea to do that?

    Thanks!

If you need space i would say go for this wd 500gb 5400rpm for 89$ (+ shipping) Item#:N82E16822136314 @ newegg. It has really good reviews.

Wow, that's a great deal! I might go with the WD5000BEVT then!
