Am I getting a good deal on this weird japanese M-series?

    Hiya

My Dell XPS1210 recently fried itself, leaving my computerless. Once the twitching subsided, I went looking for a replacement.
I live in Japan, but I found a store that sells Gateway machines. Thing is, they're a little weird and specific to Japan.

    Here's what I'm looking at:

    Gateway M-6842j
    Vista home premium
    T8100 (2.1GHz)
    3gigs ddr2 ram
    250GB 5400rpm HD
    standard multidrive optical
    15.4" screen
ATI radeon HD 2600 (I don't think it's the XT or whatever)

I can get it for $1240. Keep in mind that laptops are ironically more expensive in Japan than america.
Basically I just need to know that this thing can play Starcraft2 and Diablo3. I realise the specs for those games aren't out yet, but maybe you can estimate. I have no real idea about ATI cards anymore. After my stupid Nvidia card blew up though, I'm keen for a change.

    Thanks
    Growr.

it SHOULD be able to play them, but as you said, no one knows for sure.

my notebok is very similar to that one except i had a T8300 in it and a smaller but faster HD.

Since your M1210 packs a 7400M, the HD2600 is quite the improvement.

Indeed. You will be able to play those games with ease.
