Hey, I'm running the latest cod with 7811fx, using the new beta drivers from nvidia. The game runs as smooth as butter in native res (no aa on), with the rest of the settings on default in multiplayer. However, I seem to get these lag spots on each map that can last up to a minute. I'd hate to go lower on the resolution because 95% the game is very smooth.

Have any of you experience with this? Recommend settings? Do you think this will be addressed in a patch or do I need to downgrade my graphic settings?

    Thank you!

Since you are playing multiplayer, it could be studdering and lagging from slow internet connection as well.

I suggest lowering the settings down low and try again. See if it still happens. Do a couple games to double check. ;)

What are your settings at? I'd like to compare notes to find out if it's internet or hardware or game based.

If someone else with the same hardware is running it on similar high settings, I would have some peace of mind going in a different direction.

But yeah, I most likely will try lowering my settings later on and give a go.

    But give that a try.

My settings are on: AA: 2x / 1280x720 / All details on Medium, Water on Low / Texture settings: Medium or Auto on all.

I play at 1920/1200, everything maxed out, texture filtering automatic and the rest at extra.
Overclocked at 700/950/1800, back of the laptop propped with a wooden block the whole sitting on an aluminum cooking tray: always below 70 celsius.

Memory downclocks to 300, when the Powermizer kicks in I think. I don't suggest turning off the Powermizer because when I did the game locked when it got close to 70 celsius.
