I got my wife a new Dell Studio 15 with the LED screen, man that screen looks so beautiful compare to my P7811FX screen.

It is so bright, the contrast between black + white is perfect.

Was wondering if there are any LED screens that can be swapped into the P-7811FX's frame.

Nothing can beat LED screens right now, but you should remember that the 7811 screens are relatively top notch as far as quality and resolution, so don't let it bother you too much. I would recommend you go into display properties and change "Digital Vibrance" to about 50% if you haven't already, it makes a big difference.

It does seem to help, but at the cost of the colors. I'm not really sure how to describe it other than a sort of color bloom. The best way to see this is to view a gradient and adjust DV. Obviously it's all about personal preference and I ended up with a DV value of about 12%.
