    Dear all!

    Any Gateway P7804G users here?

Would like to know anyone dumped the 64-bit vista on it and installed win XP instead? Are all the drivers come with an XP compatible version?

    Looking forward to any sharings!

Looks like this is another iteration of the venerable 7811/7801/7805 (and 6831/6860 before that). The second drive bay is populated and bluetooth is back in.

Everything you are looking for can be found by searching under posts for the 78xx series lappys.

There have been a few problems with getting XP drivers for audio and the webcam. Other issues may exist. Again, search and ye shall find...

Audio works, you just have to run a file (Takes 5-10 seconds) to enable it.

IIRC nobody got the webcam mic workin though. I don't use the webcam anyways so I never tried, just disabled it.
