    Hi, I'm looking for another place to buy the new Gateway 6831FX from besides Bestbuy. I've been looking around and couldn't find a single store so I'm trying here if anyone maybe knows.

    The Gateway Fx in Best buy is only for Best buy, the other models are being released at the end of month, and you will be able to buy them online, and probably at some retailers.

    Gateway has their P-171 FX prices up at $899 and $1099-$100.

    Looked everywhere but can't find if it has 8800m GPU.

    Sub $1000 for 8800m laptop would be a bargain!

    I called them to find out since their website is very misleading right now. Note that those prices refer to the P-171S and P-171X and NOT the P-171FX. They should be careful that tehir product description matches the actual product they are currently selling.

    The P-171 models at Gateway website are P-171S and P-171X.
    They all have integrated Intel GMA only.

    I would not even dream about a 8800m laptop with sub $1000 price tag.
