I think I remember this being asked, but I'm not certain. Are our ATA controllers pure SATA II and capable of TRIM or not?

I know at least one of you probably has one of the pre-pull ones, and I'm curious as to whether when they finally do hit channel in number again if I'll be buying something only to get half the potential performance out of it.

the 78XX have SATA 2 Connections so can use the G2s well. As to TRIM thats a controller issue not a SATA issue.
