Can someone tell me what settings the P-6860Fx laptop will get for Far Cry 2?
-
I have on a 6831 with an X9000.
What do you want to know? -
I meant what graphics settings can you put it at?
-
well not max, my quad core desktop with a 3850 cannot max at 1680x1050, if you run every thing at very(no ultra high) high @ 1024x768 and use 2XAA it should be smooth.
-
What would the fps be if it was at 1200 by 800, No AA, All very high?
-
thet should be fine too, just stay away from the ultra high settings, as there is no visible difference really and you take quite a large performance hit.
-
kiddin.. What type of frame rate you pullin with it? And, nars..are you ATI friendly?
-
Would you have any clue as to the what the fps would be?
-
-
I didnt check the frame rate, but I would assume that it was running between 20 and 45FPS, mostly at about 30 though.
And yes, im very ATI friendly, Nvidia pisses me off with their drivers, price gouging, etc. My new desktop im building after Im rid of my 6831 will include an ATI card. -
Hmm.. that's why you're friendly. Desktop variants. The mobile versions have crap for driver support.
know any good resource for modded drivers? and not mobility modder, but tweaked drivers.
-
sorry dude, not into the whole driver to get .000000000000001 FPS more...lol...I really dont know though, I just upgrade if I am having problems.
-
I have a T9300, the game ran smoothly at 1440x900, all very high (not ultra). But I haven't played the game in a while and the newer drivers supposedly yield performance improvements for this game.
-
i play at 1440 900, all very high no AA at about 27 fps.
Its fairly smooth -
what about shadows at HIGH.
That wont make a lot of IQ difference but the performance will jump a lot i think -
i run it at all high settings with medium shadows/geometry and no AA. never dips below 30fps.
-
I was running it at all very high, no AA 1440x900. Didn't do a proper benchmark, but it looked smooth when playing.
Anyone play Far Cry 2 yet on the P-6860fx?
