    Could you check your windows vista log on screen and tilt the screen down slightly and see if you notice a purple blotch? Gateway Rep said it might be on all models.. So could you guys check takes like 2 secs.. thanks!

    Where do you see the purple blotch? On mine, I have something called a "screen collapse" glotch of some sort. That can only be seen at an angle, from the right side. I also notice a purple blotch near the bottom of the screen on a really dark background.

    i do not notice it, but my log in screen background image isn't very dark at all.

    i dont have the default log on screen anymoe.. but i checked anyways.. and no purple anywhere to be seen =/

    lol I wish im sending it back tomorrow. I also found white streaks during movies so might as well get it fixed. Also I talked to the gateway rep and he said he would send me a new adapter without sending the old one in...now that made mes happy!
