I've got a 7811FX which i've had since day one. It's worked quite well for a long time but recently it's been giving me a weird problem...

I've attached a photo of the issue as it doesn't appear in screenshots.

Whenever I open Itunes, or play a game my computer starts to display yellow lines all across the screen. This can be replicated time and time again.

In order to solve the issue I uninstalled the driver and then updated to the most recent driver... no luck

reinstalled the operating system... no luck

I do not have any external monitor to test to see if the problem occurs on an external or just the laptop's screen.

Again the issue only occurs when playing a taxing game (Civ 5, Fallout NV) or when i Open itunes.

Upon a system restart the issue is resolved... until next time.

I'm not sure if it's a graphic card issue or a screen issue.

MAX temp load recorded is 78 C so i don't think over heating is an issue. Used compressed air to clear the heatsink and fans.... st

I'm scratching my head here so any advice would be appreciated.
