With my specs in sig what settings should I be running BFBC2 on? I've tried a few and I get this choppy stuttering on screen after I move the mouse a little bit. Like a small jerk. Kind of a stuttering. What's causing this?

    Thanks.

background processes eating your system memory? Give gamebooster2 a shot, just google it. It flushes your memory before using the game and closes all the unessasary processes down. Could also be a number of other things with not setting the right power plan, bad a/c adapter, aging hardware like cpu or mobo, dust in your rig, some windows setting or registrys are messed up, your harddrive is not fast enough or you have bad sectors, your gamefiles are corrupted or bad and need to be reinstalled, your harddrive is to full...lol etc...

BFBC2 is no 2D game, it required all your hardware to be in tip top shape just to use it decently enough with your rig. You have a few generations older card on your hands you have to relize even tho it i powerfull video card. You have to give more info tho, has it always happened with just this game? Does it happen with other programs as well? Do you think it might be hardware or software? you the only owner?

Right click on the proccess with the game and set the highest prority. It helps me with cod4. After it game is smooth.

BTW we have almost the same hardware (in near future I swap my cpu). How many fps do you have with this game?

Actually I realized this stuttering only happens when I plug my mouse or headphones into my leftside USB 1.0 port. If the headphones are in I get crackling and bad sound + some stuttering. If the mouse is in then I get mouse lag and stuttering. Works fine for any other normal application though. However if I plug both devices into my USB 2.0 port through a hub. There is no problem.

I'm thinking of buying this game but worry about if my config could handle it.

It played nice on my system but I had a X9000 @ 3.6GHz in my p-6860fx. I used all medium, low shadows,@ 1440X900 with 0xaa/af and averaged 45 fps in 32 man servers.
