    BIOS settings 7510GX

    has anyone went into the BIOS and optimized for performance? If you have please post the changes you have made. The machine is great, I just wanna sqeeze every bit of performance from it I can. Any other system specific or laptop tweaks are welcome too!!!!


    Best tweak I can suggest is going in and disabling services that are not needed. I was able to disable about 10 that come enabled by default in XP pro and that freed up to 15 megs of ram right off the bat! I gotta warn ya though, make sure you know what you are doing before poking around in there, disabling a service that is needed can cause unwanted problems.

    Last time I remember going in the bios there wasn't anything in there worth changing. The bios is pretty plane when it comes to features.
