I just purchased a MT3423 from circuit city and I also have a 8510GZ lying around that is now my "desktop." My question is: Can I take the battery from the 8510 and use it in the MT3423? I've tried looking on Google and didn't get any results. I believe the standard 8510 battery was/is a 6-cell Lithium ion as well.

The most important question: will it fit?

They appear to be the same size.

The one from the 8510 is rated 14.4V / 4800mAh...not sure about the 3423 yet. will check soon.
