I don't know what to say. Some things have been pissing me off lately, I can't wait to quit my crappy job for one. But reading the x7800, x7900 etc. owners thread, I came across one guy who said he had had cooling problems, so I decide in my delirious ( I'm on 3 Tylenol at the moment for an earache, as well as severly sleep deprived :( ) state of mind to try that out on my busted t930 for ****s and giggles. So I pop the bastard back in, and reload the AS5 , and pop the cover back on, start'r up, and WTH 51 max on Orthos? Sure Core1 is still 5-10 degrees hotter than core0 but still, last time It always shot to 90+! I don't know, I think someone up in the silicon wafer in the sky land likes me, because I seriously thought this thing was friggin gone, y'know OH in BIOS WTHMuch?

But anyway, we'll see how it goes, I'm still wary, but happy if it does work. :) :) :) :)

Well except for the over use of text speak thats great.

I'm glad its working out for you. How long did you run the stress test?

Also try to undervolt the thing. The t9300 has posted some amazing numbers from what i've seen. Should take care of any heat problems (assuming your fans and stuff work)

But i am glad to hear that your ordeal against the rare itialian white seal sperm has worked out well for you... and you didnt attack your processing cores with the home made sword :p

Remember the dangers of rare Italian white seal semen. Semen, not sperm, we have class around here.'

Off topic, if I dualboot, do I have to update drivers for both OS?

Yes you will need to update drivers for both OS's as they are independent from each other.

    Please stay ontopic guys.

And no, I don't smoke reefer, drink smoke etc. I'm just on medicine. And have only 18 credited hours of sleep for the last 5 days. >_>

Who cares, got 8.5 hours just now, so I'm fine.

man those 10 degree differences are freaking me out lol

I have to wonder if something wasn't wrong though... Orthos made it through 7 tests on the first core in 8 hours, and only 5 tests in the second core (and it was the one 10 degrees hotter) Something is screwy with the cores and its just not evident.

But as long as its working i guess its all good.

No, no, no They were on the same test. It goes through different FFT lengths 8 times each. They were on the same FFT length, and so core one was about 3 minutes behind core 0.

Well it certainly seems you're stable, which is great news. Try to see how far you can undervolt that piece.
