I got my P7805u about 3 months ago, added a second 320 gig drive, and haven't been able to do much with it until recently (lack of time). I ran Belarc Advisor mostly for curiosity to see what it would show. Everything looked normal except one thing. The "health" of my hard drives is a little odd. The drive I added shows health is 100% but the drive that came in the laptop shows health is 64%. Can anybody tell me what exactly "health" means? Does it mean the drive is about to go to lunch?

i wouldn't put a ton of faith into that (though i'd back up my data)...i normally can tell when a HD is getting ready to fail by looking in the event viewer(administrative tools) and seeing if there's any error messages under System and then look for a bunch of red remarks followed by DISK

Thanks for your reply. I don't put a whole lot of faith in the results of one test. I will be checking with other utilities and as you suggested, back up everything. Harold Lloyd is sort of pale, isn't he?
