    For those of us who brought this machine Best Buy has it on sale this coming Sunday. I was over at Dvd Talk where speedy1961 listed the price. Plus you can get one pc game for free I don't know if we are able to get the pc game but at least we can get a $100.00 back :D

    I might pick this thing up tomorrow at Best Buy. Does anyone know what the options are for extending the warranty? Would I go through Gateway or Best Buy and what would the cost be?

    If your within the 14 day return period of your purchase, you can get the refund. It has to be during the sale though, and not once it's over.

    I just got my FX last night, and asked if the laptop should go on sale, since I was hearing rumors of it, if I can get the difference back, and they said yes.

    If it should go on sale tomorrow, you can bet, like usual, that there will be a limited supply. Either get one now before the sale, and go back for a refund, or get to the store as soon as it opens on Sunday morning.

    It's a great laptop for the money, and even better on sale. :D

    Update: I got the $100, plus tax, credited back to me.

    It's over $200 for a three year extended BB warranty I believe.

    $1350 buy T7700 from newegg for $250 you have a pretty good gamer for $1600, 8800m GTS & C2D 2.4Ghz, oh yea has 3GB RAM

    Dell M1730 starts at $2400 w/8700m GT & C2D 2.2Ghz.

    Value, Gateway wins better and $800 less. If you can get the T7700 to work.

    Hey I was wondering should I buy it from bestbuy now and add cpu later or get the one from Gateway which will be releasing soon which is 1600$.

    The advantage of getting from Gateway if the T7700 CPU is warranty. And much less headache!
