Just wondering what some of you guys think the best FREE Anti-Vir program is?

I'm a fan of Microsoft Security Essentials of late. It looks basic, simple and effective
AntiVirus/AntiSpyware. Also its free with no ads. -
MSE for now as well

There are discussions on that in this forum:

PC World also likes Panda Cloud AV free.

I used to use AVG free, but that was too annoying (popups etc), now i use avast! much better

You should probably look in the Security and Antivirus section. The current top free favorites are Microsoft Security Essentials, Avira, and Avast.

I used to use avast all the time. I am now trying out MSE, have to give it a while more to see how I like it. So far so good but it has only been day 1........
