    Hey guys,

    Whats the best visual/performance settings for COD4? Has anyone tried overclocking their GPU?

    Im running about 30-50 FPS but want to get arouinf 60+ without losing the great detail.

    Any thought on this?

    i tried at 1900x10224 (cant remember exactly) but gets down to 20-30 fps. Is the 3D benchmark free to download?

    3dmarks are free to download.running on max reso will definitely drop your fps a lot.try running it on 1440x900. visual details doesnt change much since graphics on COD4 is unparalleled. :D

    just down the AA a bit and the AF, should be able to max it, I run it externally on my 32 inch samsung at 1920x1080 maxed with no problems.

    go in and change you cgame settings through the dvar ( the key in the top left under the esc key) ~
    typwe in /com_maxfps 100
    you can set this from 1 ( 60 is probly your default) to 1000
    it will show you your default and let you change your fps setting in the game
