I just replaced a broken hard drive and I am trying to put Windows XP back on it, but there is a black screen when I try to boot up the laptop. :( I am not too familiar with laptops. I build my own desktops.

Fixed it. I had a bad stick of memory in slot 1. Replaced it and it works perfect.
