    My old Optiarc AD-7583S, which came with my notebook, is dying. I want to buy a blu-ray burner (not just reader) in order to exchange with the dvd burner. I read some threads about the Panasonic UJ240B, the LG BT10N, etc. I know that either of this can be installed, but the question are: are any of them capable of be converted to RPC1? also, increase read speed. I travel a lot to America and Europe, so, switching from Americas zone to Europe zone makes decrease the changes in RPCs internal counter of the drive.
