    Broken fingerprint reader

    I have the 172x FX with the UPEK fingerprint reader and recently completely randomly it has stopped working, no more fingerprint logon no more anything completelly unresponsive. Has anyone else come across this and is it time to call Gateway or does anyone know what might be up.

    Maybe try a software and driver reinstall first, that's what Gateway will have you do first anyway.
