Today I went to a store with a second hand Gateway, it listed the specs but not the model, and I forgot to take note of the model on the computer carcass itself, though I remember it not having any 'u'.

I was planning to buy it but I wanted to make sure what the model was before I did, to see if there are some flaws or anything of note on it.

I remember it having Core2Quad, Windows Vista, GeForce GTX 260, Blu-Ray drive, a 17" screen... what are the possible suspects?

Ive heard horror stories abotu the cooling, so I dont know what to do, neither. If anything, Ill buy it tomorrow to be elegible for the Windows7 upgrade!
