I just flashed my BIOS to 9c.23 and it's a lot better than my old one, 9c.08. The main thing is that the GPU fan didn't run 24/7 with high noise even when all it's blowing out is a lot of cold air (most of the time). Now the GPU fan doesn't turn unless it gets hot, in which it turns for a little bit and then stops. Finally, peace and quiet.

Or so I thought. The CPU fan is now running 24/7, and although the noise it makes isn't as harsh as the GPU fan, it is still kinda annoying. Is there a BIOS version that has them both turn off when not hot? Or is this the best I'm gonna get?

I hear that 9c.17 is the most stable BIOS, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I checked the Gateway support website, but they only have the 9c.23. I remember seeing 9c.17 there before, ugh I can't believe I didn't download it then. Does anyone happen to still have a copy of this BIOS?
